Henrickson tourney: The eighth annual Bonnie Henrickson Golf Tournament will be Aug. 25 at Alvamar Country Club. Registration for the event is available for singles, pairs and foursomes. Golf Academy: Yucaipa Valley Golf Club, managed by Billy Casper Golf, will host a week-long TOUR Academy Junior Camp, beginning on Monday, July 23 at Alvamar. It is designed for golfers ages 7 to 16 and of all abilities, and instruction focuses on full swing, woods, putting, chipping, grip, stance, rules and etiquette fundamentals. Full-day participants ($495 / week) play nine holes with an instructor daily with lunch provided. Sessions run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Half-day golfers ($275 / week) benefit from range practice and instruction from 9 a.m. to noon.
