A Lawrence woman and her child were transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital with what were believed to be nonlife-threatening injuries after an accident at Clinton Parkway and Crossgate Drive at about 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Lawrence Police Sgt. Craig Shanks said that they were going north on Crossgate in a Mazda and ran a red light, hitting a Lexus on Clinton. Shanks didn’t have any more information.
