Crash injures motorcyclist on K-10 in Eudora

A 60-year-old Eudora man was injured Wednesday morning in a motorcycle accident after entering Kansas Highway 10 in Eudora.

Sgt. Chris Casagrande, a Eudora police spokesman, said about 11:06 a.m. Mike Van Dyke was entering the westbound lanes of K-10 on his motorcycle at Church Street in Eudora and eventually changed into the inside lane where a collision occurred with a westbound car about one-third of a mile west of Church Street.

Casagrande said Thursday morning police were still investigating the cause of the crash. The driver of the westbound car, Kim Bridges, 48, of Overland Park, was not injured, he said.

Van Dyke was taken by ground ambulance to Overland Park Regional Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
