Pittsburg Troy Willoughby tossed a complete game and the Lawrence Raiders took down the Tulsa Tide’s blue team, 8-3, on Saturday at the Pittsburg tournament.
Willoughby also led the way on offense, going 3-for-4 at the plate. Fellow Raiders Aaron Gile and Matt Sutliffe were both 2-for-2, while Otto Kaifes tripled for the Lawrence, which scattered 10 hits across seven innings.
On Friday, the Raiders (21-11) lost to K.C. Natural Baseball, 7-2, and defeated Lee’s Summit Lakers, 12-0. Lawrence will face Tulsa’s black team at 11:15 a.m. today to end the tourney.
