Kansas City, Kan. ? Two former Kansas City, Kan., police officers have admitted stealing money, electronics and video games while serving search warrants in a case that culminated with an FBI sting and videotapes of the crimes.

Dustin Sillings and Darryl Forrest each pleaded guilty on Tuesday to a federal felony charge of conspiracy against rights. They face up to 10 years in prison, although they’re likely to get far less under federal sentencing guidelines.

Prosecutors said that during the FBI sting operation, Sillings was overheard saying it was a pity the house did not have more “swag.”

U.S. District Judge Kathryn Vratil scheduled sentencing hearings for June 5.

A third officer charged in the case, Jeffrey Bell, is scheduled for a change-of-plea hearing Wednesday.
