De Soto 40, Eudora 37

Eudora — Mason Wedel scored 14 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter as De Soto built a 10-point fourth-quarter lead before pulling out a three-point win. Andrew Ballock led Eudora with 15 points.

De Soto (4-2) plays next at home against Spring Hill on Monday.

Holton 63, Perry-Lecompton 46

Perry — Jeremy Immenschuh scored 10 points and Jon Denton added eight for Perry-Lecompton.

The Kaws (0-7) will entertain Santa Fe Trail on Tuesday.

Mill Valley 77, Tonganoxie 65

Shawnee — Mill Valley trailed 44-37 with four minutes remaining in the third quarter, then went on a 22-2 run extending into the fourth quarter on their way to a 12-point win over Tonganoxie.

Tonganoxie made seven three-pointers in the first half, and 10 for the game, but Mill Valley made 18 of 21 free throws and Nathan Stacy, averaging 24 points per game, scored 26.

Mill Valley (4-2) plays at Bishop Ward on Tuesday.

Horton 47, McLouth 41

Horton — Horton broke a 14-14 halftime tie by gaining a five-point edge in the third quarter.

Louisburg — A strong first quarter helped Baldwin remain unbeaten. The Bulldogs outscored Louisburg 14-3 in the first quarter en route to a 49-26 victory.

Four Bulldogs scored at least eight points Friday. Alex Twombly led the team with 10 points.

Baldwin improved to 7-0 on the season with its biggest game of the year coming Tuesday. BHS will host Frontier League rival Ottawa at 7:30 p.m.

Girls

De Soto 39, Eudora 28

Eudora — Allie Webb scored seven points, and eight Eudora players scored, but the Cardinals fell to De Soto.

Eudora (4-5) will entertain Paola on Tuesday.

Horton 50, McLouth 35

Horton — Horton led by 10 points at halftime before winning by 15.

Baldwin 41, Louisburg 25

Louisburg — While its baskets weren’t falling in the first quarter, Baldwin High relied on its defense as it built a 19-6 halftime lead.

The Bulldogs held Louisburg scoreless for the first 8:30 of the game. Katie Jones led all scorers with 15 points. Kailyn Smith chipped in nine from the other guard spot.

Baldwin (4-3) will host Ottawa at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
