A 36-year-old man from Mexico was injured Thursday evening on Interstate 70 after his 2007 Plymouth van was rear-ended by a St. George man’s 2004 Chevrolet truck just west of the Lecompton interchange.

According to the Kansas Turnpike Authority the crash occurred about 6:40 p.m. three miles west of the interchange in the westbound lanes.
