The Big 12 named Kansas University junior Andrea Geubelle its female conference track and field athlete of the week on Tuesday.

Guebelle, who won the same award on Jan. 17, was honored for her performances at the Husky Classic in Seattle last week. Guebelle’s victory in the triple jump and second-place finish in the long jump rank in the top 15 nationally.

The KU track and field teams will compete at the Big 12 Indoor Championships on Feb. 24 in College Station, Texas. The Jayhawks have never won a Big 12 conference championship.
