Douglas County prosecutors filed an aggravated battery charge Monday against a 20-year-old Lawrence man who was arrested after police said a 34-year-old man suffered facial fractures.

A judge set bond for Barton B. Hageman II at $20,000 and scheduled his next hearing for March 14. Police said Sunday the alleged victim in the case was waiting for a cab at home in the 1600 block of Edgehill Road when a fight broke out.
