To the editor:
I support the proposed athletics facility. As someone who has had rent to basketball facilities for the past 20 years, I want to voice my support for the new athletics facility proposed by the city and Kansas University. It is difficult to find available gyms on a regular basis. The demand for gym space in Lawrence has outgrown the availability. This will be an investment in the future of our community. Congratulations to the City Commission for their vision.
