FSHS swimming wins

— Ben Sloan and Connor Munk each won two individual events to help Free State High win a swimming and diving quadrangular on Thursday at Shawnee Mission North.

Sloan won the 200 individual medley (2:04.17) and the 100 fly (52.71), and Munk won the 50 free (22.88) and 100 back (56.47).

Dan Krieger (diving, 226.4 points) and Hunter Robinson (100 breast, 1:08.53) also claimed individual wins for the Firebirds, who won the team title with 490 points. Runner-up SM North had 390 and was followed by Lawrence High (336) and Leavenworth (56).

Free State also swept all three relays.

Adam Edmonds, who won the 100 free in 53.11, was the only individual winner for the Lions.
