Strong second half not enough as Seabury boys fall at Paola

? Michael Kressig scored 12 points and Mito Owino added 10, but Seabury Academy’s boys basketball team fell to Heritage Christian, 54-48, on Friday in the Paola Tournament.

After trailing by 15 points at halftime, the Seahawks made it close in the second half.

“We turned it around the third and fourth quarters,” Seabury coach Ashley Battles said. “We won the third and fourth quarters.”

Seabury outscored Heritage 32-23 in the second half.

Peter Shin and Harley Holub added six points apiece for the Seahawks, and Marcus Allen scored five.

Seabury (0-3) will play Monday in Wichita against the Wichita Defenders.
