KU football announces select non-conference opponents through 2018

The Kansas football team will play non-conference games against nine different schools from seven different conferences over the next six years, KU announced Friday.

The Jayhawks will play home games against Southeast Missouri (2014), Central Michigan (2014, 2017), Memphis (2015), Ohio (2016) and Rutgers (2018) over the next six seasons. KU will also take on Duke (2014), Rutgers (2015), Memphis (2016), Ohio (2017) and Central Michigan (2018) on the road.

The future non-conference games are in addition to the home-and-home series with Rutgers (2015, 2018) that the team announced earlier in August.

The third and final non-conference games for the 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 seasons will be released at a later date.

KU will open the 2012 season against South Dakota State at 6 p.m. Saturday.
