51st Art in the Park scheduled for May 6
The Lawrence Art Guild’s annual Art in the Park event will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 6 in South Park in downtown Lawrence.
The event, in its 51st year, features fine arts and crafts made by area artists as well as live music and food vendors. More than 10,000 people typically attend Art in the Park, according to the guild. Artists’ works will be judged and awarded cash prizes for the best work in 3-D and 2-D media categories.
