Bryan D. Roberts, a 24-year-old Lawrence man, entered a plea of guilty in Douglas County District Court to a charge of attempted aggravated criminal threat and a plea of no contest to a charge of battery on a law enforcement officer. He had initially been charged with three counts of aggravated assault after being accused of possessing a handgun in a Lawrence parking lot Monday night after an earlier altercation with several people inside a bar. He is scheduled to appear in court for sentencing June 4.
