KU student reports man accosted her early Saturday

Kansas University police are investigating a sexual battery report that allegedly occurred at 2:10 a.m. Saturday morning. A KU female student said she was walking home when a college-aged man accosted her, struck her in the face and grabbed her breast, according to the report. The student was able to break free and run home, said Maj. Chris Keary, assistant KU police chief.

The woman alleged that the incident occurred on Sunnyside Avenue at Haworth Hall. She said the suspect was wearing a green Ralph Lauren polo shirt and cargo shorts, was between 6-foot and 6-foot, 3-inches tall, and had dark hair and dark eyes.
