Free State placed fifth and Lawrence High finished sixth in the eight-team Lawrence tennis invitational Friday at LHS.

The Firebirds’ Richard Lu and Nick Pellett took took third in No. 2 doubles, and the Lions’ Thomas Irick was fourth in No. 1 singles.
