A 22-year-old Lawrence man who jumped early Tuesday morning from a moving car on the Kansas River bridge near downtown was in serious condition Wednesday at Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., said Bob Hallinan, a hospital spokesman.

Lawrence police said Tyler Tesdahl jumped from the northbound vehicle about 3 a.m. Tuesday during an argument with the car’s female driver. He was flown to KU Hospital by air ambulance.
