A number of afternoon sporting events have been called off Wednesday due to inclement weather in Lawrence.

The Wednesday home quad for Lawrence High’s boys tennis team was postponed and rescheduled for 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Topeka schools Washburn Rural, Seaman and West were scheduled to compete with LHS at the quad.

The Lawrence High junior varsity and C-team baseball games, as well as the C-team softball games have been called off, too. No reschedule dates have been set for those at this time.

Additionally, track and tennis practice for West Middle School was canceled.
