A 40-year-old Eudora man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries Monday afternoon after a rollover accident on Kansas Highway 10 east of Lawrence.

Sgt. Steve Lewis, a Douglas County Sheriff’s spokesman, said Phillip Jared Marshall at 1:18 p.m. was driving his 1979 Jeep CJ-7 east on K-10 when he lost control of the vehicle. Marshall told officers he believed the transmission locked up, causing the vehicle to leave the highway to the south and roll several times. Marshall remained in the vehicle as it rolled over, Lewis said. He was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
