AARP Tax-Aide is seeking volunteers to assist with tax preparations next year for low-income and senior residents in Lawrence, Ottawa, Baldwin City and Oskaloosa.

Volunteers do not need to be AARP members but should have basic computer skills. They will receive free training and materials, and are reimbursed for program-related expenses.

Volunteers will help prepare and file state and federal income tax returns at no cost to qualified taxpayers. The program runs from Feb. 1 to April 15, 2012.
