Kansas University Public Safety officers are investigating a burglary after someone broke a window in a vehicle Thursday and damaged the dashboard while removing items. More than $1,200 in property was taken and $1,100 in damage was done to the vehicle in Lot 90, the large lot that serves the Ambler Student Recreation Fitness Center. The burglary occurred between 10:40 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday.

Another vehicle burglary involving a broken window occurred between 9:15 a.m. and 11:25 a.m. Thursday in Lot 62 in the 1000 block of Sunnyside Avenue. The amount of property lost and damage was $1,430, according to the KU Public Safety Office.
