The Legends of the Phog exhibition game — scheduled for 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, in Allen Fieldhouse — is sold out, the KU athletic department announced Tuesday.

The general public bought the last of the remaining tickets by 11 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Former KU coaches Larry Brown and Ted Owens will coach a collection of former KU players who have been part of three NCAA titles, 54 conference championships, 13 Final Fours and 2,038 all-time victories.

A portion of the proceeds will be dontated in memory of former KU assistant coach Neil Dougherty, who died in the summer. KU officials are working directly with the Dougherty family on specifics, including one of his favorite local charities: The Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence.
