Wichita ? A Caldwell man serving nearly 14 years in prison for rape and other charges has been sentenced to an additional 13 1/2 years for attacking guards.

The Wichita Eagle reports that the Kansas Attorney General’s Office said 24-year-old Thomas Melvin Guerra was ordered to serve the sentences consecutively for the attacks on two guards in the Sumner County jail.
