2011 Eudora High graduate pleads guilty to spray-painting at school’s stadium

A 19-year-old Eudora man has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of criminal damage for spray-painting the Eudora school district’s stadium earlier this year, an act that caused several thousand dollars in damage.

Spencer Travis Board, a 2011 Eudora High School graduate, entered the plea in front of Douglas County District Judge Michael Malone on Wednesday afternoon, according to the judge’s office.

Prosecutors alleged that on July 7, Board caused more than $25,000 in damage to the $2 million stadium that opened last fall on the Eudora High School campus, 2203 Church St. Turf, a concession stand, concession stand light-cover lenses, the track and restroom entrances were damaged.

Police also initially detained two juveniles in connection with the case.

Malone is scheduled to sentence Board at 10 a.m. Nov. 23.
