Girls Night Downtown to benefit Mario’s Closet
A Girls Night Downtown next week will benefit Mario’s Closet, a boutique at Lawrence Memorial Hospital that provides cancer patients with free or low-cost items.
The event, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, will allow shoppers to purchase a $20 ticket, which then entitles them to discounts at participating merchants and restaurants. Tickets are $10 with college identification.
Tickets are available in advance on the LMH Endowment website, tinyurl.com/6dfjg2w, as well as the Downtown Lawrence Inc. office, 833-1/2 Mass. Tickets also will be sold on Thursday evening at two sites: outside the Eldridge Hotel, Seventh and Massachusetts streets, and in front of US Bank, Ninth and Massachusetts streets.
