Event to raise funds for Women Build
Habitat for Humanity will host the Women Build Benefit Luncheon on Friday at Maceli’s, 1031 N.H.
There will be a silent auction at the luncheon. The event starts at noon, and tickets cost $40.
Habitat for Humanity established the Women Build group to encourage women to build. The group teaches women the necessary skills to build homes. So far, women crews have built more than 800 Habitat houses in the country.
Proceeds from the luncheon will go toward Women Build’s upcoming project, which begins in 2012.
