A 77-year-old Manhattan woman was killed in a single-car accident near Reno township, in Leavenworth County, on Sunday afternoon.

Eleanor G. Stolzer was driving eastbound on Highway 24/40 when her car hit the guardrail on the right shoulder and continued into the ditch, according to Kansas Highway Patrol records. Highway Patrol was called to the scene just before 5 p.m. and Stolzer’s body was transported from the scene about an hour later.
