The Vinland United Methodist Church this weekend will be hosting its annual benefit for Youthville of Kansas, a nonprofit group that works to assist children who are victims of abuse.

The benefit includes information about the program and music from members of the Witness Band and the Baldwin High School band, as well as soup and sandwiches. It will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the church, 1724 N. 692 Road, Baldwin City.
