A 56-year-old Lawrence man and a 20-year-old Topeka man were injured in an accident on Kansas Highway 4, approximately eight miles northeast of Topeka on Monday afternoon.

Both drivers were southbound on K-4 when the Lawrence man hit the Topeka man from behind, according to Kansas Highway Patrol records.

The Lawrence man was taken to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka; the Topeka man’s injuries were treated on the scene.
