Kansas University students will be available to rake leaves, clean homes and perform other household tasks on Nov. 19 as part of Hire-a-Habitat. The suggested donation is $25 per hour for each volunteer and will go toward finding local families affordable housing. Last year’s fundraiser generated more than $4,000.
