A holiday tradition for 22 years, the National Memorial Day Concert (7 p.m., PBS, check local listings) combines military pageantry and musical performances to honor servicemen and women both living and dead.

This marks the sixth year that the concert has been co-hosted by Gary Sinise (“CSI: NY”) and Joe Mantegna (“Criminal Minds,” “The Simpsons”). Performers include “American Idol” winner Kris Allen and blues legend B.B. King. Look for classical performer Hayley Westenra, the National Symphony Orchestra and Daniel Rodriguez, the police officer and tenor who rose to prominence after the Sept. 11 attacks.

Actress Dianne Wiest and Gen. Colin Powell will also appear. Among the highlights of the evening is the first national welcome home tribute to troops returning home from Iraq.
