Wichita ? A federal judge in Kansas has granted a delay in sentencing for a Texas man charged with conspiracy in a guided hunting camp case that spanned several states.

U.S. District Judge Wesley Brown on Thursday set a June 24 sentencing for hunting guide Marlin Butler, after his attorney requested more time to prepare.

His brother, James Butler Jr., the owner of the Camp Lone Star in Coldwater, faces sentencing June 21.

The brothers, both of Martinsville, Texas, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to break a federal law barring interstate transport of wildlife taken in violation of state regulations. Search warrants were executed in Louisiana, Kansas and Texas.
