Wichita ? Wichita police say a man who called them after being shot during an apparent drug deal lived in a house that contained a large marijuana operation.

Police say the 18-year-old man reported that three men tried to rob him Wednesday and shot him in the wrist as he fled.

When officers went to his home in northeast Wichita, they allegedly found a significant amount of marijuana, growing equipment and evidence that the drug was being sold.

The Wichita Eagle reports that two women and another man also live at the house. Lt. Doug Nolte says investigators are still trying to determine who in the house was involved in the drug operation.
