Wichita ? Wichita authorities say a mobile home fire that left a man with serious wounds has been ruled arson.

Capt. Stuart Bevis says the 45-year-old man suffered deep cuts on his arms while trying to escape through a bedroom window Wednesday night. The Wichita Eagle reports neighbors pulled the man through the window, and he was taken to a hospital.

The man was alone in the home at the time. Bevis says investigators determined the fire was intentionally set and caused about $20,000 in damage.
