McPherson ? A trial date has been set for a former McPherson High School teacher accused of having sex with a 16-year-old student.

The teacher is charged in McPherson County District Court with four counts of unlawful sexual relations with a student and one count of furnishing alcohol to a minor for illicit purposes.

The Hutchinson News reported that the teacher’s trial is scheduled for March 30.

The teacher is accused of having sex with the student between May and July 2009.

The teacher was arrested in February 2010 and is free on $10,000 bond.
