Lawrence police are investigating the discovery of a body found in a wooded area Saturday evening at the Brookwood Mobile Home Park, 1908 E. 19th St.

Sgt. Kirk Fultz said a medical emergency was called into emergency dispatchers about 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Emergency crews found a body in the woods when they arrived.

Fultz said there were “no obvious signs of foul play,” though police continue to investigate. Fultz was not able to provide further information regarding the case.
