It is owned and operated by Scott and Linda Schultz of Baldwin City and is licensed to provide care for six residents who have Alzheimer’s, dementia and other memory loss disorders. • PROSOCO, East Hills Business Park, has hired staff accountant Alan Meisinger of Lawrence; systems administrator Parker Byron of Olathe; and sales strategy team leader Amy Fick of McLouth.

Meisinger’s duties include general ledger, multi-state tax returns, account reconciliation, calculating commissions, and reviewing payroll tax filings. Before joining PROSOCO, Meisinger worked at Kennedy & Coe in Wichita.

Byron oversees the networking of more than 100 devices including computers, servers, printers, and even the company telephone system, and associated software. Before coming to PROSOCO, Byron served as systems administrator for the Economic Opportunity Foundation, a Kansas City, Mo., nonprofit.

Fick’s duties include overseeing the team’s organizational details, including maintaining, updating and communicating the group’s database, itinerary and other information. Previously, she worked at the Lawrence branch of the global oil field service company Schlumberger.

• Lena Rodriguez, Lawrence, was invited to co-host a business show on KTWU. As a former academic and academic administrator, she stays connected to the academy with her work as an accreditation appointee for the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Rodriguez is an associate (chief marketing officer) with the Urban Entrepreneur Partnership, a program of the Kauffman Foundation. The first part of her series aired in April and again in May. She will be taping another segment in July.
