Hutchinson, KS ? Three Hutchinson Correctional Facility officers treated and released at a hospital after a fight with inmates.

Prison spokesman Dirk Moss says the incident began Sunday afternoon when an inmate working in a kitchen assaulted an officer who was working security.

WIBW reports that the officer was able to call for help. Moss says when those officers arrived, more inmates joined the fight, hurting two more officers.

The three officers were treated and released at Promise Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson. No inmates were injured.

No charges have been filed. The investigation is continuing.
