Navy seaman Kasey D. William has completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

William is a 2010 graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School.

Army Pfc. Haaris H. Chaudhry has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.

Chaudhry is a 2004 graduate of Lawrence High School and the son of Shahnaz Chaudhry, Lawrence.
