Boy crashes school bus into football stadium at Southeast of Saline Secondary School

? Officials in a central Kansas school district are looking at possibly expensive repairs after a child drove a school bus into a wall at a football stadium.

And Saline County sheriff’s deputies are trying to figure out how the boy got behind the wheel in the first place.

The crash happened just after 10 a.m. Monday at Southeast of Saline Secondary School, near Gypsum.

KWCH-TV reports the boy was not seriously injured.

But the bus was heavily damaged when it crashed into a brick wall supporting the stadium press box. The wall was partly demolished.

No details about the boy have been released, but the superintendent says he was not a student in the Southeast of Saline district. School was not in session Monday because of the federal holiday.
