A 53-year-old Franklin County man died early Sunday morning after a one-vehicle accident north of Pomona, according to a news released issued by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

The man — identified as Mack A. Sachs — was driving a 1994 Chevrolet truck north in the 3800 block of Colorado Road around 12:40 a.m. Sachs lost control of the truck, which left the roadway and overturned, ejecting Sachs from the vehicle.

Sachs was the only occupant in the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is under investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
