Best Of Lawrence 2011: Sweets, quick eats and game day hot spots
Voting for Best of Lawrence begins two weeks from today. Thank you for your feedback thus far. We’ve got just a few more categories to share before you tell us what your favorite places in Lawrence are.
Today we review candidates for sweets, quick eats and places to watch a game. There’s a chance we missed a candidate or two — one’s idea of a quick meal may differ from another and there may exist a person who prefers to watch the Jayhawks from a barbershop. So if you feel like your favorite place has been overlooked, don’t hesitate to let us know and we will happily include it.
We’ve already previewed candidates for best date, wifi hotspot and bar. You looked at the town’s best bookstore and live music venue candidates. Best coffee, burger and place to dance inspired a spirited debate. Chili-heads and Taco Tuesday regulars got a chance to debate the town’s best spots for Latin American and Middle Eastern foods. We’ve looked at candidates for pizza, Italian food,Asian cuisine and breakfast. Most recently, we’ve reviewed the city’s best clothing and hair care options.
