Jury selection begin Tuesday in Atchison County murder case

? Jury selection is scheduled to begin Tuesday in Atchison County in the trial of a 59-year-old Kansas man charged with capital murder.

Roger Hollister, a Nemaha County farmer, is charged in the 2009 death of 58-year-old Patricia Kimmi, of rural Horton.

The Topeka Capital-Journal reports that the trial is expected to last about two weeks.

Atchison County Attorney Jerry Kuckelman said jury selection will likely take much of Tuesday, and opening arguments could begin Tuesday or Wednesday.

Hollister is being held in the Atchison County Jail, where he has remained since being charged with the attempted murder of his wife, Rebecca Hollister, during a car crash in February 2010. He faces a jury trial in that case in April.
