Two recent Kansas University football seniors will participate in all-star football games Saturday, while two more seniors are scheduled to compete in late March.
Offensive tackle Brad Thorson will be playing in the NFL Players Association game, formerly known as the Texas vs. The Nation game, in San Antonio, Texas, while defensive back Chris Harris will play in the Dixie Gridiron Classic in St. George, Utah. Both games will take place Saturday.
In addition, running back Angus Quigley and wide receiver Johnathan Wilson will compete in the inaugural Pro Bound Sports Bowl in Little Rock, Ark., on March 26.
Thorson started the final 24 games of his Kansas career. He was named the team’s top offensive lineman after his junior year.
Harris’ 290 career tackles rank third all-time among KU defensive backs.
