Topeka ? Topeka police say a 36-year-old man died after being shot during an argument at an apartment complex.

The victim, James E. Sanders, was shot late Sunday in southwest Topeka and died at a hospital early Monday.

Police continue to search for the assailant in the slaying.

The homicide was the second homicide during the Christmas weekend in Topeka.

On Saturday, a 41-year-old male employee at a Hudson Liquor store, died after being beaten during a robbery.

A suspect in that case also remains at large.
