Kansas Democrats to unveil jobs plan

Legislative Democrats on Tuesday will unveil their plan to improve the economy.

“Kansas Jobs First” will include 14 priorities aimed at creating jobs, providing work training and stopping unscrupulous hiring practices.

Senate Democratic Leader Anthony Hensley of Topeka and House Democratic Leader Paul Davis of Lawrence will be joined by other legislative Democrats at two news conferences on Tuesday.

The first one will be at 9:30 a.m. in the Old Supreme Courtroom in the Statehouse. The second one will be at 2 p.m. at the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local No. 441 Apprentice Training Center in Wichita.
