Franklin County man, 36, faces federal drug charges

A federal grand jury in Kansas City, Kan., Wednesday indicted a 36-year-old Franklin County man accusing him of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

According to U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom’s office, Timothy Wilson is accused of possessing the drugs Sept. 8 in Franklin County.

Ottawa police and Franklin County Sheriff’s Officers investigated the case along with U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents.

If convicted, Wilson faces from 10 to 40 years in federal prison and a maximum fine of $2 million, according to prosecutors.
