Get lost, Grover
To the editor:
Are we going to have another fight in Congress in September? The federal gas tax expires Sept. 30, the highway agency fund will then in a short period of time go broke.House Republicans may try and let the tax expire as leverage in the budget war. One of the loudest voices for ending the gas tax is coming from Grover Norquist. When are the Republican politicians going to get the guts to tell Norquist to get lost?
