The Kansas football team’s home game against Northern Illinois at 6 p.m. on Sept. 10 will be televised by Fox College Sports, KU announced Thursday.

Last year, the Jayhawks had two home games televised on Fox College Sports (North Dakota State, New Mexico State).

KU and Northern Illinois have not met only once, when NIU took a 37-34 victory in Lawrence in 1983.

KU opens the season playing host to McNeese State at 6 p.m. on Sept. 3.
